The online BetAmerica casino platform builds upon the online wagering experience already available in Pennsylvania through the BetAmerica SportsBook since its December launch. Through the online BetAmerica casino platform, players in Pennsylvania can now enjoy over 40 games and slots including: Blackjack, Roulette, Starburst, Divine Fortune.
In Pennsylvania, all online sportsbooks are attached to a retail bookmaker. Given BetAmerica’s online sports betting history, it would seem the opening of Presque Isle is the first step to greater plans. BetAmerica, the sports betting brand of Kentucky-based casino and racetrack operator Churchill Downs Inc., has boosted its digital offering in Pennsylvania with the addition of online casino games to its recently launched online sportsbook.

The BetAmerica online casino platform went live this past Friday and, as mentioned above, builds on the online sports gambling experience the BetAmerica brand already offers in the Keystone State.

BetAmerica’s online casino launched Jan. 28, and its February revenue of $67,755 was just 1/90 that of market leader FanDuel and less than 1/10 that of its closest competitor, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board’s February revenue report.

The recently rolled-out platform currently offers more than 40 table games and slots. BetAmerica customers can play online versions of blackjack and roulette as well as the highly popular online slots Starburst and Divine Fortune, among others.

Divine Fortune, an online progressive jackpot slot by Swedish casino content supplier NetEnt, has become a bit of a hit in Pennsylvania. Late last year, a lucky player from the Keystone State hit a $285,385 jackpot playing the game on HollywoodCasino.com, the iGaming operation of Penn National Gaming.

The BetAmerica online casino platform is the second iGaming product to have gone live in Pennsylvania since the beginning of 2020. Last month, sports betting and daily fantasy sports FanDuel debuted its FanDuel Casino in the Keystone State to accompany its digital sportsbook in the state.

Expanded Pennsylvania Footprint

The launch of the BetAmerica casino offering followed the start of online sports betting operations under the same brand late last year.

The BetAmerica brand marked its official entry in Pennsylvania in the summer of 2019 when it debuted a sportsbook at Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie, which Churchill Downs purchased earlier last year.

The retail betting facility, which is located at the casino floor of the property, features 50 self-betting kiosks. Churchill Downs then debuted an online and mobile BetAmerica-branded sportsbook in December 2019 to tap into Pennsylvania’s digital wagering space.

To celebrate the recent launch of its online casino in the same state, BetAmerica offers both new and existing customers 100 free spins on its slots titles. Players only need to make sure they log into their accounts each day during the promotional period, February 1-5, to receive 20 free spins per day.

Commenting on the expansion of their existing product in Pennsylvania, BetAmerica President Ian Williams said that they are thrilled to expand upon what they have already built in the state and to “now give players a place to enjoy both online casino an online sports wagering from a single account.”

The newly launched BetAmerica online casino brought the number of iGaming operations in Pennsylvania to seven. As mentioned earlier, FanDuel launched its first FanDuel Casino app late in January to join the state’s digital casino-style gaming space. The app went live with 12 slots and five table games, but the operator promised to expand its offering in the near future.
